End-of-Week Golf Report – St Andrews

The Links Golf Society crew wrapped up the week with their Friday fix at St Andrews 2000, where the course conditions were actually better than last time—a minor miracle in itself.

Green Jacket:
🏆 Pete Shaw – the seasoned world traveller (and now serial winner) – made it two in a row, carding a steady 36 points off 16. Rumour has it the jacket is starting to mould to his shoulders.

Runner-up:
🌺 Tim “Hawaiian Brand Ambassador” Duffy (13) – 34 points and enough aloha spirit to power the back nine.

Third Place:
🧢 John Webb (16) – 33 points on a countback, proving consistency pays… just slightly less.

Near Pins:
❌ Nobody. Not even close. Let’s pretend the wind was brutal.
